I’m a big fan of bizarre Godzilla posters, and this poster for an 80s re-release of Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964) is among my favourites. This advertisement is far from the usual beautifully rendered information-overload of a typical Godzilla poster. Its almost childlike artwork, reminiscent of the work of Shigeru Mizuki, is as endearing as it is befuddling.
