I love killer kid movies. Children murdering adults is a cinematic taboo that brings both chills and uncomfortable giggles. A nostalgic favourite of mine from this genre is Mikey (1992). In Mikey, TV’s Brian Bonsall (who, for the record, now looks like this) is a psychotic orphan who burns through several foster families, sometimes quite literally. Fantastically politically incorrect, especially for the early 90s, there’s no subtlety to Bonsall’s horrendous acts as he spouts one-liners and kills the crap out of everyone. Here’s a great moment…
