The opening of any film is important. It introduces important characters, establishes the story’s world and its rules, and, perhaps most importantly, sets the film’s tone. I’d be hard pressed to name film that meets that criteria better than Traxx (1988). If you’ve not seen Traxx, do yourself a favour. You’ll quickly discover that your life is neatly divided into two parts: life before Traxx and life after Traxx.
