Jon McBride’s Cannibal Campout (1988) is one of the better known shot-on-video productions of the late 80s and with good reason. Cannibal Campout is both hilarious and surprisingly disgusting. While it is cheap beyond belief, it’s obvious McBride and crew put a lot of love and effort when shooting it, leaving us a very entertaining film.
