Detachable arm in Gamera vs. Viras

My favourite moment from Gamera vs. Viras is when the heroic child-stars of the film attempt to lasso an alien, which leads to an Nobuhiko Obayashi-esque airborne arm detachment.
Zigra (ジグラ Jigura)

Zigra (ジグラ Jigura)

Zigra lacks the flat out weirdness of Guiron, the brutish panache of Gyaos, and the creepiness of Jiger, but he is still a fun foe. Zigra's convoluted scheme involves kidnapping a sexy spacewoman from the moon, interrupting radio programs with verbal threats, and crowning himself King of the Sea.
Jiger (ジャイガ Jaigā)

Jiger (ジャイガ Jaigā)

You know from the moment Jiger dredges her fucked up body from the earth that she is going to be a creep. In Gamera vs. Jiger, Jiger does something to Gamera that is the worst thing I've ever seen a giant monster do to another giant monster.
Viras (バイラス Bairasu)

Viras (バイラス Bairasu)

Viras stands alongside weirdos like Hedorah as one of the oddest looking kaijū in monster movie history. A deformed squib with the face of a bird, there's something strangely creepy about the big lug.
Gyaos (ギャオス Gyaosu)

Gyaos (ギャオス Gyaosu)

With Gamera vs. Gyaos, Gyaos became Gamera's second adversary and a worthy followup to Barugon. While certainly a more restrained kaijū in comparison to its predecessor, Gyaos nonetheless brings the goods.
Barugon (バルゴン)

Barugon (バルゴン)

Barugon is a total bad ass. Born from an opal shaped egg, Barugon wastes no time fucking up Osaka.

Gamera vs. Gyaos – Czech poster

Here's another scan from my collection of Czech movie posters. This time it's a poster for '60s kaijū flick Gamera vs. Gyaos.
