Hellblock 13 (1999)
If you're a fan of Hansen or Rochon, this is a must-see, but even if you're not, you might get something out of Hellblock 13. It has everything a growing horror fan needs (albeit on a smaller scale): gore, water-soaked child-zombies, a mutant-redneck, acid-fueled bikers, and decapitation.
Anatomia Extinction (1995)
Anatommia Extinction is very much a film of its time portraying claustrophobia and misanthropy in a way only 1990s Japan knew how to deliver.
Plan 10 from Outer Space (1995)
You might watch Plan 10 and utterly hate it. It could be interpreted as total nonsense. But if you can see the mad genius creeping out behind the hairy-chested exhibitionists and bee-hive-faced aliens, you'll have a joyously good time at the movies.

How to have sex according to The Underground Banker
The Underground Banker sounds amazing on paper, but most of the screen time is dedicated to shit comedy. Like this brilliantly stupid scene where Anthony Wong attempts to fuck his sex-starved wife while listening to instructions from an extremely unhelpful sex therapy tape.
The Raping Murderer (1995)
The Raping Murderer is borderline unwatchable. I apologise for even bringing it to your attention if you weren't already aware of it. If you have already seen it, I apologise for dredging up any bad memories.
Hansel e Gretel (1990)
It's hard to say whether Fulci at any point sat in the director's chair during the production of this. My guess is no. Though Fulci was not at the top of his game in 1990, his flourishes could still be seen in even his cheapest work. None are apparent here.
Dick training montage
I think we can all agree that every movie centring on gigolos requires a dick training montage. Hong Kong turd Gigolo Club delivers, though I'm not entirely sure how hot sauce helps tackle premature ejaculation.
Seagal destroys a restaurant
In this infamous sequence from The Glimmer Man, Seagal annihilates a restaurant, its occupants and a cannoli, even going as far to make a concluding smarmy gag about his handiwork to what must have been a very confused person on the other end of the phone.
Excessive Force (1993)
It's cheesy in the right spots and brutal when it needs to be. If you want to take a break from Seagal and Van Damme but still have a hankering for 90s action, Excessive Force is a worthwhile sidestep.
Roddy Piper’s second greatest line ever
What a blow that Roddy Piper, easily the most charismatic wrestler-actor of the 80s and 90s, has died at 61. Piper holds a special place in horror/sci-fi movie history for his role in They Live, but even in his less discussed roles he was a blast to watch.
A handy quip from Dr. Giggles
In amongst the lifeless and bloodless Scream rip-offs, there's the occasional slice of 90s horror fun. Like Dr. Giggles. Doctor-themed one liners and puns galore, Dr. Giggles is good dumb fun.
