I don’t know a whole lot about Thailand, but I do know that they made awesome posters in the 80s and early 90s. Thai posters for the horror, trash and science-fiction movies of yesteryear are the ultimate expression of 80s excess. Just search “Thai movie posters” in Google images - make sure you’re sitting down. Thai posters are what got me into poster collecting, and I love the few that I own dearly. But my favourite - and one that sits proudly on my hallway wall - is the Thai poster for Evil Dead II. I’ll say nothing more. Simply drown in its beauty…

I don’t reckon you’d need to see the film after looking at the poster! I tried your suggestion, and I have to say the Flash Gordon one on the first page is legendary. Great stuff.
