While browsing the amazing Westgate Gallery collection, I came across a poster that made me laugh very hard: AFRICA ANAL! I have no clue where this movie is from or when it was made, but I love, love, LOVE its obnoxious poster! This, along with heaps of other awesome posters, is available for sale on Westgate’s site.

We at Westgate Gallery pride ourselves on tracking down the correct film titles and credits for our many Italian XXX posters, but this one remains a mystery! The collage contains images from several 80’s black-themed VCA VHS releases, including IN & OUT OF AFRICA (1986, with Field Marshall Bradley & Nina Hartley) and THE COLOR BLACK (1986, with Lois Ayres & Ray Victory), so who knows what the horny Italians who paid to see this at the cinema actually stroked it to. Maybe a volume of VCA/Wet Video’s extensive AFRO-EROTICA compilation series? We can’t even guarantee that it contained any bunbusting, to use the Dark Brothers’ frisky euphemism. What matters is that it’s a completely insane & enormous (39×55″) artifact from the Golden Age of Smut, in near-mint condition!

Correction: IN AND OUT OF AFRICA was released by John Holmes’ cheapo company Penguin, not VCA.
