Gore-met, Zombie Chef from Hell – VHS cover

I must confess that I’ve never seen the gloriously titled Gore-met, Zombie Chef from Hell. Its video cover, however, brings back waves of nostalgia. I remember seeking it out every time my parents and I visited the local video store, staring at it from a safe distance — the goofy, gory, plastic limb and its threatening and stupid tagline of ‘Dining out can be a permanent experience!!’ terrifying and confusing the ten-year-old me. I felt sad, but kind of relieved, that I would never be allowed to rent it. I guess now that I’m thirty, I’m allowed to watch it… right?
