I haven’t seen any of the Sukeban Deka television series, nor have I read the manga, but I thoroughly enjoyed Sukeban Deka the Movie (1987) and its sequel, Sukeban Deka the Movie 2: Counter-Attack from the Kazama Sisters (1988). While the movies assume a prior knowledge of the show and characters, there’s enough action and scenery chewing villains to make both movies a worthwhile viewing. The schoolgirl cops of Sukeban Deka famously use yo-yos to take out their adversaries, but in this scene we are shown the deadly use of the Boomerang Crane!
