My favourite moment in Hot Lunch is when Desiree Cousteau and Brigit Olsen trade verbal blows in a battle for the film's (hysterically bland) leading stud. The dialogue has a John Waters-esque filth and absurdity to it. I love it!
Italian Stallion – Italian poster
Back in 1970, Sylvester Stallone was in a shitty softcore flick called The Party at Kitty and Stud's. It was a piece of cinema history I'd all but forgotten about until Sly's face popped up in my Facebook newsfeed in a post from Westgate Gallery.

Worst Dracula ever
The highlight of Hot Vampire is Jim Parker's portrayal of Count Dracula. Parker is undoubtedly the worst Dracula ever shot on celluloid. He grins and stumbles his way through the film like a nervous high schooler with a camera shoved in his face.

The New Wave Hookers series became quite popular in the mid-eighties and still enjoys a certain cult following. The content of the films in question is not as important to my designer mind as the posters.

Africa Anal – Italian poster
While browsing the amazing Westgate Gallery collection, I came across a poster that made me laugh very hard: AFRICA ANAL! I have no clue where this movie is from or when it was made, but I love, love, LOVE its obnoxious poster!
A Clockwork Orgy’s opening sequence
A parody of A Clockwork Orange from the mid-90s seems head-scratchingly anachronistic, but, strangely enough, A Clockwork Orgy puts in quite the effort when mimicking its source material.

Another great vintage porn poster from the Westwood Films stable. I know I post a lot of these, but I just love them so much.
Cabaret Sin (1987) & Empire of the Sins (1988)
Despite the graphic fucking, I sometimes had to remind myself I was watching a hardcore porn film. Other times I had to remind myself I was watching a film. Cabaret Sin and its sequel's refusal to adhere to comprehensible storytelling creates an intoxicating, almost ethereal effect.
