This poster for the 1985 comedy Radioactive Dreams is so gorgeously illustrated that it actually causes pain within my person. I am reminded of the rich tradition of rock tour posters from the 60s onward, however, there is an unmistakably mid-80s take on the psychedelic leanings exemplified. The snaking tongue of the fire-haired woman looming over the horizon draws you toward her while the figures situated along various points of the tongue road provoke both danger and mystery. I am also impressed (given the rich detail) that this poster still manages to maintain a true sense of space, focusing its action toward the centre.
